Honeysuckle Bears are limited edition collectors' bears made in the depths of rural Wiltshire and, on occasions, in Normandy.
All the bears are unique, one off creations. If a bear you like has been adopted please ask, as a similar one can be created. You can view a photo album of adopted bears by visiting the 'Adopted Bears' page and clicking on the link. I also work on commisions.
All Honeysuckle Bears are made from German Schulte mohair, unless otherwise stated. They have glass eyes and are jointed, therefore theyare not suitable as toys. They are only suitable for people aged 14 years and above. However, if you wish to purchase for a child please contact me as I can use safety eyes, noses and joints.
Please ensure you purchase for adult cuddles only!
Helen Doel - Bear Artist:
Each bear takes on average eight to ten hours to make, from cutting the fabric to the last stitch and final hug! The exceptions are the bear cubs, these can take anything up to sixteen hours due to the complexity of the design.
Happy Second Birthday Honeysuckle Bears!
I've had a very successful two years creating and selling my unique hand made bears. I have attended some shows and am continuing to sell bears through 'Marlborough Art and Craft'. Some bears were destined for American life and I have a bear living in Canada. Hector, a very small bear, is currently travelling the world as a 'toy voyager'.
Marlborough Art & Craft: Some Honeysuckle Bears are available exclusively from Marlborough Art & Craft, which is situated within St. Peter's Church at the end of Marlborough High Street. Further information about the exhibition and coffee shop can be found at www.btinternet.com/~candsrogers/StP/
